Including 19 cupcakes that you very carefully baked and frosted (with rainbow sprinkles by the way) the night before your hubband's birthday. Who ignores you even though you tell him multiple times that if you eat daddy's cupcakes, I'm going to punt you in the butt. Who is talented enough to reach up onto the table, fight his way through 2 tupperware containers and eat the cupcakes clean out of their wrappers and then have the gall to beg you for more food when you eat dinner. Tesco's new Fresh and Easy opened up Thursday in 6 different cities. My friends and I have been anxiously awaiting the opening because that area was in desparate need of another supermarket. If the Hubband and I wanted to make waffles on Saturday morning but didn't have enough eggs, we'd have to schlep all the way down to the not-so-great Ralphs on Colorado & Verdugo (not far really, but we're lazy - it's the weekend after all) Plus, the F'nE was touted as a grocery store with "Lots of fresh and wholesome food choices, including prepared meals and organic foods, [that] make healthy eating easy and affordable." So, we went to opening day over at the F'nE, and I'm still trying to figure out how best to describe the place. Movies are a hobby of mine, I guess you could say. I'm not a film school geek, but I can turn a phrase here or there (The color timing on Traffic was great because it helped separate the 3 different storylines throughout the movie). And I watch a lot of movies and television, movies about television, TV shows about movies, etc. A lot. To put it simply, I enjoy watching the picture shows. Plus, my job pretty much centers around it and TV, so it surrounds me all day. Which is great. Anyway, every now and then, I'll have a few observations from the movies or TV shows that I have been watching. Hence, my new series "Dapples from the Movies (or TV)".
