Dapples from Movies & TV: Celeb Sightings

Whenever I talk to friends from out of town, they always ask me if I've met anyone famous. Given that I've lived in LA for almost all of my life, I have to say yes. But then, I can never think of anyone off the top of my head. And I think it's because of this: LA is the home of tons of celebrities. It's their little comfort zone. So, if I see Arsenio Hall at the Pier 1 Imports on Ventura buying throw pillows with his wife (true story), then I don't want to bother them and go on about how much I like their movie/show/blog/record/children's name. Let them be and live their lives like any normal, non-star/celebrity. That's how I would want to be treated if I were to become an international superstar.
HOWEVER, they are still everywhere and with this blog, I will document the celebs that I see around town. I am not Gawker or Defamer(*RIP) and will not note precise details like time of day and intersections and all that. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just that this is going to be more like a general log so the next time someone asks me I can name the names.

Sighting #7 - Dominic Monaghan & Evangeline Lilly from "Lost" at The Burbank (Bob Hope)  Airport.  The Hubband and I were on our way back from Las Vegas (our first trip without LMH) and I noticed "Charlie" in the terminal.  Wearing his very rock star glasses and traveling with a couple that I assumed was his parents.  I wasn't 100% sure it was him - I was trying to be discreet by peeking out from behind my Vanity Fair article on Sarah Palin (good article, btw), and didn't want to stare too much.  However, when we landed in Burbank, I saw "Kate" greeting them.  Bingo!  Totally him!  I then pretended to act normal, while I stage whispered the news to the Hubband.  They looked so nice and normal, just waiting for the airport shuttle to take the back to Lot C.

**Upon retelling this story to my friends, the first response I got was, "What?  You traveled on an airplane with the guy from "Lost"?  And honestly, I didn't even think about it at the time, but yeah, that's a little weird...

***Geez, "Charlie from Lost", stop following me...
