Procrastinating again...
Well, I just got back from a wonderful birthday trip to Las Vegas, and given that I'm me, the post about that wonderful weekend is not done yet. In fact, I haven't really started it yet. But, it'll be good! I promise...Plus, I got to go to the Kwik-E-Mart and took pictures!
In the meantime, here's a few fun links to procrastinate with:
In the meantime, here's a few fun links to procrastinate with:
- Well There's That - Shauna's blog where you can find her musings and tips for life. Bonus points for her for the best line of the day: Hemroid cream: Good For More Than Just Your Ass
- Threadless .com - This site has great, fun T-Shirts for like 15-20 bucks. For anyone who likes my Basement of the Alamo shirt, I got it from here.
- Can't Hardly Wait - A couple of weeks ago, the hubband and I caught this playing on TNT or some basic cable network that plays old movies back-to-back-to-back over the weekend. TBS, I'm looking at you... But anyway, I remember watching it when it first came out - nothing special. But this time, we were watching it and constantly kept going "Hey, it's that guy!" or "Hey, isn't that the girl from...?" All these people with parts in the movie have gone on to do more work in movies and tv. And it's not just the Ghost Whisperer, either. Short list off the top of my head: Seth Green (Austin Powers, Robot Chicken), Breckin Meyer (Clueless, Robot Chicken), Donald Faison (Clueless, Scrubs), Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), Selma Blair (Cruel Intentions, Legally Blonde), Jaime Pressly (My Name Is Earl), Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother, Knocked Up), etc. And that's just some of them. Holy smokes! Check it out and put it in your Netflix cue, or wait until TNT plays it again all weekend. Kevin Bacon could link to SO many other actors if he links up with anyone of these guys. It's pretty weird. Oh wait! Seth Green was in Austin Powers with Mike Myers who was is in Shrek with Cameron Diaz, who was in Something About Mary with Matt Dillion, who was in Wild Things with KEVIN BACON! (I'm sure there's a shorter connection, but this works, right?)
